Lake Folsom Running

I am always on the hunt for new trails to run. I recently moved to Folsom, CA. I was pleasantly surprised of the variety of trails right out my door step. This is a sharp contrast to the last city I lived in, Roseville (Suburbia). Folsom lake and Lake Natomas offer a running trail for all running levels. Lake Natomas is flat and paved, with a dirt trail run parallel to the paved trail, while Folsom Lake is for the more intermediate to advanced runners with hills and challenging terrain.
